We’re pleased to announce $400,000 in funding for Gwaii Communications. This investment is in addition to the $45 million in funding announced for the “Connected Coast” project and will connect 341 households on Haida Gwaii with a fibre-optic connection, with speeds up to 100Mbps.

The investment will also provide Sandspit with a subsea cable, providing citizens with a comparable service to the rest of Haida Gwaii.
