Victoria — Today we celebrate all workers around the province by proclaiming International Workers’ Day in BC. This day recognizes the extraordinary contributions of working people and the importance of having safe and healthy workplaces. Today, we can take pride in knowing that the actions we’re taking to create safe workplaces and improve employment standards will provide a benefit to workers and workplaces now during the pandemic and beyond.
