North Coast NDP MLA Jennifer Rice says she’s anxious to get to work following the legislature resuming.

She says she looking forward to next week when a vote of confidence will be taking place.

Rice says that will make way for the NDP to form government with the support from the Green Party.

Rice also says the Throne Speech was just a list ditch effort for the Liberals to keep power and resembled a lot of the N-D-P’s ideas that were earlier criticized by the BC Liberal Party.

Rice says she’s looking forward to tackling issues like the fentanyl crisis, housing, improving ferry service, and addressing the softwood lumber dispute.
